Jenna Free is a therapist and business owner who helps organizations get out of survival mode, increasing productivity, improving culture, and creating workplaces where people actually perform at their best and want to stay.
What is survival mode?
Your nervous system can't tell the difference between a bear and a bad quarter.
When we experience modern stress - a packed calendar, a difficult team dynamic, a high stakes presentation - our nervous system responds the same way it would to a physical threat. It shifts into fight or flight, flooding the body with signals to protect and survive rather than think and create. At work, this looks like being easily distracted, constantly overwhelmed, getting stuck in busy work and ultimately burnout. Most organizations try to fix this with better systems, clearer processes, or stronger policies. But you cannot policy your way out of a nervous system response. That is where Jenna's work begins.
Keynote Topics
Three talks. One core idea. Immediate results.
Talk 01
Out of Survival Mode
For employees
Most people assume they would know if they were in survival mode. But high functioning and regulated are not the same thing. This talk gives employees the science behind what is happening in their nervous system at work, practical tools to regulate from the inside out, and a clear picture of what becomes possible: better performance, more output with less effort, and energy left for a full life after 5pm.
Talk 02
Why Your Culture Initiatives Aren't Working
For leaders
Leaders are pouring resources into culture, wellbeing, and psychological safety and still watching their teams burn out. The missing piece is rarely the policy. When a leader is operating from survival mode, it doesn't matter how good the initiative is. Nervous systems are contagious, and teams co-regulate with their leaders whether anyone intends it or not.
Talk 03
ADHD at Work
For organizations
ADHD in the workplace is getting more attention but most advice misses the root cause. ADHD symptoms at work are nervous system symptoms, not personality flaws or laziness. This talk gives organizations a clear picture of what neurodivergent employees actually need to perform at their best, and why getting it right benefits every person on the team.

About Jenna
The reason this approach works where others haven't.
Jenna Free is a registered therapist, coach, speaker, and author with over 10 years of experience working with individuals and organizations. For the past three years she has focused specifically on survival mode and nervous system regulation, developing a practical, science-backed approach to why people and teams get stuck, and what actually gets them out.
What sets Jenna apart is a simple but overlooked insight: most workplace dysfunction isn't a skills problem or a policy problem. It is a nervous system problem. And when you address it at that level, everything else shifts.
